










I think I’m about to indulge in a bit of assholery. I’m never quite sure if I’m saying what others feel, yet are too polite to say — or if I am indeed, an asshole. Since this article involves babies and dogs, I’m leaning toward the conclusion that I’m probably a bit of an asshole.

I’m seriously going to vomit the next time a White male is gifted with the “boys will be boys” excuse, as if having a Caucasian scrotum is the new hall pass for despicable behavior.

I know that you want for me to tell you that there is no racism in America.
Or that there are very few racists in America.



Yesterday, I prayed. Yesterday I dropped to my knees and rested my head on my clutched hands on the side of my bed, closed my eyes and prayed (just the way I used to before going to bed throughout my childhood).
